With decades of experience in real estate and agriculture, John brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to RES Auction Services. He began his real estate career in 1983, earning multiple sales awards, including the Ohio Realtors President’s Sales Award, and serving in leadership roles within the Wayne-Holmes Association of Realtors, including President and Hall of Fame inductee. Before transitioning to real estate full-time, he worked as a farm business instructor, helping farmers improve their operations through careful planning and recordkeeping.
Outside of real estate, John has been deeply involved in his community as a 4-H and Farm Bureau Youth Advisor, coach for youth soccer and basketball, and an active member of the Northwestern Ruritan Club. Over the years, he has also restored and flipped more than 30 homes and manages several rental properties. When he’s not working, you’ll find him in the garden or birdwatching with his wife of 50 years, and enjoying time with their two sons and six grandchildren.
