Devon Heacock is a lifelong resident of Cardington, proudly carrying on the seven-generation legacy of Heacock Farms. Growing up with three siblings, he developed a deep appreciation for agriculture, hard work, and family values. Today, he operates the farm alongside his parents and wife, Alexandria, ensuring the traditions continue for future generations.
Devon and Alexandria have been married since the fall of 2009 and are raising their three children as the eighth generation on the farm. He takes great pride in passing down the lessons of farm life, instilling in them the same dedication, perseverance, and respect for the land that shaped his own upbringing. When he’s not managing the farm, he enjoys cheering on his daughter in Cardington Softball and getting involved in his sons’ soccer, often assisting their coach and playing alongside them.
In 2022, Devon expanded his expertise beyond farming by graduating from The Ohio Auction School and Hondros College of Business, launching a career with RES Auction Services specializing in equipment and real estate auctions. He also helps families navigate the process of settling a loved one’s estate, offering compassionate and professional auction services for farm equipment, real estate, and personal property. His deep understanding of agriculture and the auction industry allows him to provide tailored solutions that honor legacies while supporting future generations.
Devon remains deeply involved in his community, serving on the Morrow County Soil and Water board, the Morrow County Jr. Fair Livestock Sale Committee, and the Cardington Ag Farm Association, all in support of local agriculture and youth.
