Born and raised in Ashland, Ohio, Andy graduated from Ashland High School and went on to The Ohio State University where he studied Agricultural Education.
In 2002 he graduated from the Missouri Auction School and completed his real estate courses from Hondros University in 2003. Since then, Andy has been a full-time auctioneer specializing in Agricultural Real Estate and Equipment auctions.
Andy quickly became one of the auction industry’s most prolific auctioneers by becoming only the second auctioneer to win the industry’s triple crown. To do this Andy won the 2013 International Auctioneer Championship, the 2016 World Livestock
Auctioneer Championship, and the 2017 World Automobile Auctioneer Championship. Over the years Andy has served as a contract auctioneer for several of the nation’s most prestigious auction firms. Despite his national recognition, today Andy is solely focused on continuing to build RES Auction Services footprint and provide leading edge service in marketing for his clients.
In 2010 Andy became the co-owner of RES Auction Services which today encompasses over 20 state and nationally recognized auctioneers. Andy is a past president of the Ohio Auctioneers Association and received the highest designation an auctioneer can receive at the Certified Auctioneers Institute.
Andy and his wife Megan are active on his family farm where he hopes to instill his passion for auctions and agriculture in their 3 sons.
